This is one of the most emotional weeks for mothers because at this week, babies usually use their facial muscles to move around their cheeks and even smile. You can’t see that smile, but you can imagine what your kid would look like once they smile.

Another thing that you want to take note is that the baby will now have sprouts on their head, body, and eyebrows.

There are some chances that you can notice and see in your body at this week. Some of these symptoms include:

  • Less breast tenderness
  • Increased energy
  • Weight gain
  • Moody

Also at this point you will be feeling nauseous and heavy mood swings due to the hormonal imbalance in your body.

Best Time To Have Sex

Because nausea is only experienced by very few at this point, you would want to have sex more often with your partner at this point. This is because your belly is not yet that big to make sex uncomfortable and it will not get in the way when you are doing it.

Another reason why this is the best time to have sex is that there is extra blood flowing below your waistline, which means that you may want it more often this week and in the upcoming weeks. But before you do it and if you have questions about certain positions and the frequency of having a sexual intercourse with your partner, you want to talk to your doctor so you could make it safe.

When To Call The Doctor?

You want to be extra vigilant at this point because you can have a miscarriage and you want to avoid that from happening. Here are some things that you want to make sure you know about and call your doctor if they happen to you or you experience them when you are alone:

  • Bleeding from your vaginal
  • Leakage of the fluid
  • Fever
  • Abdominal pain
  • Severe abdominal cramps
  • Headaches
  • Blurred vision

If you have morning sickness and it is still bothering you, you want to call the doctor right away and tell them that you are still getting them.

Take Vitamins

You want to make sure that you are taking vitamins for your baby and yourself to make sure that there are enough vitamins and proper nutrients for both you. Consult your doctor for a specific vitamins for you and your baby.
